8th Grade Math Class

The 8th Graders worked on solving proportions, which are basically two ratios which are equal. A ratio is a numerical comparison of two different groups: like number of boys and number of girls. They felt comfortable with the topic since it is a main focus of 7th grade, but this year, in Algebra, they are introduced to more complex equations involving proportions.
